As a wedding photographer, it is very important to have a written agreement with your client to make sure there are no misunderstandings. This way your client knows exactly what to expect and also has a written document to refer back to. I have worked closely with a legal contractual specialist and together we compiled an easy-to-read PDF document that consists of 10 pages and contains standard industry terms and conditions. I have also added a few items from lessons learnt along the way. This tailored terms and conditions document protects both yourself and your client and includes the following clauses: cancellation policy, copyright, delivery of images, force majeure, on-the-day preferences, liability and more.
One-on-one consultation sessions
With my passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge, combined with 12+ years experience in the industry, I offer one-on-one consultation sessions to other photographers. I share lessons learnt, offer targeted words of advice and can answer any questions you might have.
The session can take place via Zoom or if you are based in Cape Town, at your favourite café.
