As a wedding photographer, every event is unique and special, but some weddings leave a profound impact that stay with me for a long time.
Recently, I had the honour of documenting a beautiful wedding at the picturesque Emily Moon in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. Nestled along the banks of the Bitou River, Emily Moon exudes rustic charm and natural beauty. The venue's tranquil surroundings and sweeping views provided the perfect canvas for capturing the love between two incredible brides.
Despite the rainy start, just as the two brides exchanged their vows, by stroke of luck, the rain subsided, and a soft, diffused light emerged, allowing for ethereal images that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Ilse from Blomstories, transformed the reception venue into a botanical wonderland, with stunning florals dripping from the ceiling. The vibrant colours and textures provided a rich contrast to the misty landscape outside, creating a visual feast that was a joy to capture.
Throughout the day, it was abundantly clear that love knows no bounds. The brides' huge smiles and tender gestures were a testament to the power of genuine, unapologetic love and it was such an honour to to capture.
