From the moment I met Kirstie and Alistair for a coffee a few months before their big day, I knew I was in for something special. Their warmth and genuine kindness radiated through every interaction, and I couldn't wait to document their love story through my lens.
As Kirstie walked down the aisle in her timeless Pronovias wedding gown with its sweeping train, there was a palpable sense of elegance and grace. It was a gown that held special significance, as it was her late grandmother's favourite and wearing it was a beautiful tribute to her.
Alistair's constant grin spoke volumes about his happiness and love for Kirstie and it was beautiful to witness.
One of the highlights of the day came when Kirstie changed into her party dress. This dress, with its own unique story, had been left behind in George, prompting a last-minute scramble to retrieve it. With the help of an Uber driver who went above and beyond, the dress made its way to Cape Town just in time for the celebration.
The decor at Boschendal Estate was a sight to behold. The neutral tones and textures created an atmosphere of understated elegance, with beautifully draped linen adding to the serene ambiance. Every detail was thoughtfully curated by Jess from Mon Amour Events, reflecting Kirstie and Alistair's impeccable taste and style.
