I recently had the pleasure of photographing my dear friends, Arlene and Erik, to celebrate the special and exciting time as they anticipate parenthood. It's a moment that truly deserves to be beautifully documented.
Our shoot began in their cozy apartment in Mouille Point, Cape Town with it's stunning views of the ocean. There's something truly magical and intimate about capturing a couple in the comfort of their own home. Natural light filled the room, creating a warm and serene atmosphere that perfectly complemented the love and excitement that filled the air.
After that, we ventured out to Saunders Rock Beach for some playful and beachy photos during golden hour. It was such a beautiful session set against the iconic Cape Town sunset and it left me feeling so happy and fullfilled. As a lifestyle photographer, witnessing these life-changing moments is an honour.
